Rare Companions — Rare & Endangered Animals is a collection of hand-tufted art rugs inspired by animals whose presence in the world is becoming increasingly fragile.

Each animal was chosen not for its power or drama, but for its quiet presence — for the way it exists at the edge of visibility, slowly disappearing from the landscapes it belongs to.

Every design is produced in a strictly limited, individually numbered edition. The small number of pieces reflects the rarity of the animals themselves and reinforces the idea that each rug is more than an interior object: it is a tactile artwork, a companion, and a character that becomes part of the home.

Created for children’s spaces and shared family rooms, these rugs invite closeness, care, and imagination. A child can sit beside the animal, play around it, rest on it, and grow up sharing the same space with it.

By bringing these rare creatures into everyday life, the collection draws attention to their disappearance — gently, without turning them into distant symbols. They remain present among us: visible, touchable, and remembered.
